Q: How do I search for a book in your website

A: You can search our books using the "search" option, by providing either book name, author name or ISBN. You can also search books according to their categories

Q: How do I register

A: Registering is easy. Please click on "register" button and fill the simple registration form and creatr your own username and a password. This can be used to login to your "account"

Q: How do I place an order through your website

A: Once you complete your registration, please select the books you require and add them to the shopping cart. Then select "checkout" and providing the delivery address, The delivery cost will be shown to you before you select the payment options. once you select the payment options, and complete the order, an auto e-mail will be sent to you with the estimated date of delivery.

Q: How long does it take to deliver the book

A: If the order is placed before 3.00 pm, your book will be delivered by the next working day.If It's after 3 pm, please allow 2 working days for the delivery.

Q: What are my payment options

A: You can pay using your Master/Visa credit card through the Sampath Secure Payment Gateway or pay cash on delivery.

Q: The book that I received has a printing defect. How do I get a replacement

A: We will send you a replacement copy once we are informed of this by phone/e-mail. The defective copy can be returend through the courier.

Q: The book I need to order is mentioned as "out of stock" in your site. How do I order it?

A: Please inform us your requirement through phone/fax/e-mail, with your expected delivery date. We will then import the book accarding to your urgency

Q: How do I cancel an order

A: You can cancel your order before it's shipped out using your account. The order cannot be cancelled once it's shipped out.

Q: Can I order books through phone/e-mail and have them delivered

A: Yes! However we advise that you register and order online and enjoy various membership/seasonal benifits

Q: The book I need is not listed in your website. How can I order it?

A: Please inform us your requirement through phone/fax/e-mail, with your expected delivery date. We will then quote a price and import the book according to your urgency.

Q: If I order a book on a poya day/Sunday, will it be shipped the next working day

A: No, we are closed on Poya days/Sinhala & Tamil New Year/Christmas. Courier collections does not happen on Sundays

Q: How do you calculate delivery rates?

A: Delivery rates are calculated based on the weight of the book and also the delivery address
